Terms and Conditions

The terms for buying and using ILM Tech modules: licence, add-ons, auto-renewal, support, refunds and liability.

Last updated: 22 October 2026

These terms apply when you use ilmtech.in or buy from us. By placing an order you agree to them. Please read them; they are written to be read.

In short

  • The module is yours to keep, for one shop per licence.
  • Add-ons run for 12 months, and the module keeps working when they end.
  • Nothing renews by itself unless you turn auto-renewal on.
  • There is a 30-day money-back guarantee, explained in the Refund Policy.
  • How we handle your data is in the Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

This shop is run by ILM Tech, India. You can reach us at sales@ilmtech.in or through the contact form. In these terms “we” means this business.

2. Your account

Give correct details and keep them up to date. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what is done through your account.

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. If you buy for a company or a client, you confirm you are allowed to.

We may suspend an account that is used for fraud or that seriously breaks these terms. We tell you by e-mail when we do.

3. What you buy

Everything we sell is digital. A module is a one-time payment and comes with a licence for one shop. Add-ons run for 12 months each and belong to one licence. The module keeps working when its add-ons end.

The product page lists the features and the platform versions (PrestaShop, WordPress and WooCommerce) the product supports. That description is what we promise.

If you buy support while your support is still running, the new 12 months are added to the end. After a gap, the 12 months count from the day you buy.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in the currency you choose in the shop. Any tax that applies is shown before you pay.

You pay through Razorpay or PayPal. Razorpay handles payments in India: cards, UPI, net banking and wallets, in INR, as Razorpay offers them. PayPal handles international payments: PayPal balance and cards through PayPal, in USD and EUR. We never see or store your full card number. Your order is accepted when the payment is confirmed. The invoice is in your account.

PayPal and Razorpay process your payment data under their own privacy policies. We share with them only what is needed to take the payment, handle a refund or answer a dispute.

We may refuse or cancel an order in three cases: an obvious pricing mistake, suspected fraud, or a legal restriction. If you already paid, we refund in full through the same gateway.

5. Delivery

Nothing is shipped, so there is no shipping cost. As soon as payment is confirmed, the download and the Order ID are on your order page and in an e-mail. Normally this takes a few minutes.

If you have nothing after 24 hours, contact us; we fix it or refund you. More on the Delivery page.

6. Your licence

What you may do

  • Install and use the module on as many live shops as licences you bought (one licence = one shop domain).
  • Move a licence to another domain of yours (write to us if the module cannot do it itself).
  • Ask us for a test or staging copy of the same shop (we normally say yes).
  • Change the code for your own shop (we cannot support changed code).

What is not allowed

  • Using it on more shops than you bought.
  • Sharing, reselling, renting, sublicensing or publishing the module or your Order ID.
  • Removing or getting around the licence check.
  • Removing copyright notices.
  • Using our code to build a competing product.

Good to know

  • You buy a licence to use the software; the software itself stays ours.
  • An agency may buy for a client; the licence then belongs to that client's shop.
  • The licence lasts as long as you keep to these terms.
  • Parts made by others keep their own licences.
  • Our WordPress plugins are released under the GNU General Public License (GPL) version 2 or later. For them, the GPL governs copying and changing the plugin code; these terms govern the Order ID and licence key, the add-ons, support, updates and our services.

7. Activation and licence checks

The module contacts our licence service (license.ilmtech.in) to activate, and checks again from time to time. It sends the Order ID, the shop's domain, the module name and version and the PrestaShop version. Our server records the IP address of the shop's server and the time. This is needed to run your licence.

If our licence service cannot be reached, the module keeps working.

See the Privacy Policy for more on how we handle your data.

8. The Support and updates add-on

Included: help with installing and using the module, fixing bugs, and every new version released during the 12 months.

How to reach us: by e-mail or the contact form, in English, on working days (Monday to Friday, Indian time). We aim to answer within 2 working days (an aim, not a guarantee).

Not included: custom development; changes to your theme or to other modules; hosting or server problems; shops on platform versions the product page does not list.

If we need access to your shop: make a backup first, give temporary access, and remove it when we are done.

Without the add-on: the module keeps working; you keep the version you have; no new versions and no support. One exception: a fault that stops the module working as described is still handled under the 30-day guarantee.

9. The AI add-on

The add-on gives one licence 500 AI requests per month, for 12 months. Unused requests do not carry over to the next month.

AI can be wrong. AI-generated size charts and designs are suggestions only. Check every size chart and every piece of content before you publish it. You are responsible for what you publish in your shop. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for returns, exchanges or losses caused by AI output.

Do not put personal data or confidential information into AI requests.

Requests are processed by a third-party AI provider (currently DeepSeek). We may change the provider. The AI service is outside our control: it may change, be limited or be unavailable.

Fair use: no automated or bulk use, and nothing unlawful. We may limit or pause use that abuses the service, and we tell you why.

The service depends on that provider, so we cannot promise it is never interrupted. If it is down for more than 3 days in a row, write to us and we extend your add-on by the time lost.

What you create is yours: we claim no rights in your size charts.

10. Auto-renewal

Auto-renewal is off unless you turn it on from your order page after the purchase (“Turn on auto-renewal”, later “Manage auto-renewal”). Before you authorise it, you see the yearly amount. That amount does not change unless you agree to a new one.

Auto-renewal runs through Razorpay subscriptions or PayPal subscriptions, depending on the gateway you paid with. There is one charge per year, on the day your add-ons end. Your bank, Razorpay or PayPal may send you a notice before the charge.

You can turn it off at any time on your order page, at no cost, or in your Razorpay or PayPal account. Add-ons you already paid for run to their end date.

If a charge fails, the add-ons end on their end date and the module keeps working.

A renewal charge can be refunded as the Refund Policy says. Without auto-renewal nothing is charged: you simply buy another 12 months when you want them.

11. Refunds and cancellations

Our modules come with a 30-day money-back guarantee. The details are in the Refund Policy, which is part of these terms.

After a refund of the module its licence is suspended; after a refund of an add-on or renewal the time it added is taken back and auto-renewal is turned off.

The guarantee is one refund per product per customer. It does not apply to licence abuse or after a licence violation.

Refunds go back through the same gateway you paid with (Razorpay or PayPal). Gateway fees and currency-conversion differences are outside our control and may reduce the amount you receive back.

For consumers in the EU or UK: you ask us to deliver the digital product immediately, so the legal 14-day right to cancel ends once the download or activation starts. Our own 30-day guarantee applies to you all the same.

12. Your responsibilities

Before you install or update any module, back up your shop. Test the module on a staging copy before you go live. You are responsible for your backups.

Check that the module is compatible with your theme, your other modules and your hosting before you rely on it.

Keep your PrestaShop or WordPress and PHP versions supported.

Check that the sizes and measurements in your size charts are right for your products. We are not responsible for returns or exchanges caused by the content of a size chart.

Follow the laws that apply to your shop, including privacy rules towards your own customers.

13. Our promise, and its limits

Our promise: the module works substantially as described on its product page, on the platform versions listed there. If it does not, we fix it or refund you as the Refund Policy says.

Beyond that promise, and to the extent the law allows, we give no other promise, express or implied. In particular we do not promise that the module fits every theme and every combination of other modules, that it is free of every error, that it is never interrupted, or that it increases your sales. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied terms such as merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

14. Liability

To the extent the law allows: we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profit, lost sales, lost data or business interruption.

To the extent the law allows: our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the product or add-on concerned in the 12 months before the claim.

Third-party services are outside our control: payment gateways (Razorpay, PayPal), AI providers, PrestaShop, WordPress and your hosting. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for their acts, failures or changes.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability the law does not allow to be limited. If you are a consumer, your legal rights stay as they are.

15. Chargebacks and disputes

If you have a problem with a payment, contact us first. Most issues are solved faster that way.

If you file a chargeback or a dispute with Razorpay or PayPal while a refund was possible, we may suspend the licence and add-ons until the matter is settled.

To answer a chargeback or dispute, we may give the gateway your order, download and activation records.

16. Suspension and ending

We may suspend a licence or add-on in these cases: a refund, a chargeback or reversed payment, or a serious breach (sharing or publishing the module, piracy, getting around the licence check).

We tell you by e-mail. If the problem can be put right, we give you 7 days to do so before suspending, except in cases of fraud or piracy.

A licence violation (sharing, reselling, bypassing the licence check) ends the licence without refund.

You may stop using our products at any time. Write to us if you want your account closed.

17. Your indemnity to us

To the extent the law allows, you indemnify ILM Tech against claims, losses and costs that arise from your misuse of our products, your breach of this licence, or your unlawful use of them in your shop.

18. Our content, your feedback, trademarks

The software, our website content, our name and logo belong to us. All intellectual property in our products stays with ILM Tech.

PrestaShop is a trademark of PrestaShop SA. We are an independent developer; we are not part of PrestaShop SA and not endorsed by it. Other names belong to their owners.

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them to improve our products without owing you anything.

Reviews must be honest and lawful. We may remove reviews that are unlawful or abusive. We do not remove a review just because it is negative.

19. Purchases through PrestaShop Addons

If you bought our module on the PrestaShop Addons marketplace, the marketplace's own terms cover payment, invoice and refund.

Sections 6, 7, 12, 13, 14 and 17 of these terms apply to you as well.

20. Privacy

We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

21. Changes to these terms

We may change features, prices and these terms. A price change does not apply to orders already paid. The date at the top shows the latest version, and the version on the site applies.

If a change matters for a running add-on or an auto-renewal, we e-mail you at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not agree, you can turn auto-renewal off. Continued use after the update date means you accept the new version.

22. Law and disputes

Talk to us first; we try to solve any problem within 30 days.

Indian law applies. The courts in Tamil Nadu, India decide disputes.

If you are a consumer living in another country, the consumer protection of your country that cannot be set aside still applies to you, and you may also bring a claim before the courts of your country.

23. Complaints (Grievance Officer)

The Grievance Officer
ILM Tech, India
E-mail: sales@ilmtech.in

We acknowledge a complaint within 48 hours and resolve it within one month.

24. General

We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control (force majeure).

If one part of these terms turns out to be invalid, the rest stays in force (severability).

If we do not enforce a right at once, we can still do so later.

You may not transfer your account or licence to someone else without our agreement; if you sell your shop, ask us, we normally agree. We may transfer our business, and your rights stay the same.

These terms, the Refund Policy and the Privacy Policy together are the whole agreement between us (entire agreement).

If a translation differs from the English text, the English text counts.
